We all know about the mid-life crisis. Then the quarter-life crisis that hits you around the time you’re in college/just getting out of college became popular about the time John Mayer came on the scene. I’m a little too old for the quarter-life crisis, but not old enough for the mid-life one. So what do we call the in-between? I don’t know, but I’m often there. Perhaps that’s why it has been five months since I’ve done anything with this site. But, I think that’s going to change.

There’s been a lot of stuff going on, ideas floating around, work, weddings, sandwiches I’ve eaten, cartoons I want to draw, a flippin’ Whole Foods opened! and more. Life has been more challenging more than it has been in a while, but that’s ok. Frustrations are bound to happen. These are the things that make us stronger if we’re willing to learn from them. If we’re not willing to learn from them, they rip us to shreds. Hopefully I’m a learner.

So, this is a little note to tell you that there are things to come. If anyone cares. Maybe it’s more to tell myself that there are things to come and that I need to get back on this project that I started. Unless I get hit by a bus tomorrow. Or unless the allergy test that my new allergist wants to give me next week to see if my corn allergy really is, indeed, a corn allergy goes awry. I’m totally getting injected with corn. You never know.

I’ve missed you, blogger april! And, if my vote counts at all, I think you’re totally a learner.

Thanks, Elizabeth! It’s good to be coming back 🙂 And thanks for the fun Halloween party tonight. It was definitely entertaining! I might have to post some pictures from that on here 🙂
