So. Today went a good deal different from how I planned it. Even though I prayed over the prayer point for the day, I never posted it earlier (which I’ll write in a minute). I did start with the rice and beans though. I made a rather tasty red beans and rice with chopped onion and green pepper. It’s amazing how good of a meal one can make for little money. I’m looking forward to learning more recipes and seeing what can be done with little.
As for prayer points, today’s was to pray for the church as a whole, in our country and in our world. The prayer is the same as Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20-26, that we may be unified under God and the Truth. Pray for strength, wisdom and discernment for all believers in Christ.
