I’m going to experiment a little with some ideas for our social activities in Sunday School and beyond. I like people. I like you. But I hate to plan. Oddly enough, I am the social planner for the 20-Somethings Sunday School class. While I’ve been working on getting some organized group activities on the calendar, I also got the idea to do some spontaneous events. I often go out with a few friends and do little things that interest me like eating (big one), going to college sporting events, going to the theater, looking at planets through high powered observatory telescopes, etc. Instead of trying to plan these things out into large events, I’m going to start sending out a message to you when I plan to do some of these things. It might be in advance or it might be really short notice. No matter, you’ll have an opportunity to do more activities with people if you wish. I’ll give specifics for the activities in the messages.

How do I receive these awesome secret agent messages about these random acts of awesome, you ask? Even if you aren’t in the 20-Something’s Singles class at Shandon, join the group on facebook by clicking here. Then, when Random Acts of Awesome are going on, you will receive a message giving you details about the awesome. After that, you decide if you want to partake in the awesome. It’s that simple.
