As I sit curled up on the couch in my blanket, with a day of computer troubleshooting and video editing under my belt, I sip my last glass of juice for this fast. Today had to have been the easiest day of the fast. This is probably because of the hope of tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, I will be able to wake up and make a cup of coffee. I’ll be able to make breakfast that is not so liquidy. Wanna know my plan? First, I’m going to make a strawberry oatmeal for breakfast. I’ve already juiced the strawberries and reserved the pulp for that.

Lunch, maybe I’ll go out with friends after church if they go. I also have ingredients for potato leek soup with kale. It’s one of my favorites. I also want to make some veggie pizza. Oh and then I have some bacon in the freezer. Maybe some bacon chocolate chip cookies later for that evening while I say good bye to my 20s that night. Yes, it will be my last night as a 20-something. Perhaps I should say good bye with bacon cookies … and say hello to the 30s with bacon cookies as well 🙂

Hopefully in a few days, I will be able to reflect upon this fast. As for now, I just look forward to sweet dreams about yummy things.
