First of all, let me whine over the fact that there’s not enough daylight in a Saturday off. I was fairly wired last night so I didn’t go to sleep until after 2 am. Consequently, this morning I didn’t wake till almost 11:00. I set my alarm to get up earlier, but I turned it off and fell asleep again. I love sleeping in, but the problem comes when you realize half your day is already gone by the time you wake up. It’s almost 5:00 now and the sun is starting to set and that makes me sad. I’ll be glad for Spring when the sun decides to hang out a little longer. I’m rambling.

So let me ramble into the growing up part. I spent most of the afternoon scraping and recaulking my bath tub. There was a mold build up under the old caulk that all the bleach in the world wasn’t getting rid of. The phrase, “get your house in order” keeps going through my head lately. I’ll have more on that later, but I realized that recaulking the bath tub is something that a grown-up does. *Allow for a moment of silence to be depressed over this.* This is something I swore as a kid I would never do (not specifically caulking stuff, but spending a perfectly good Saturday afternoon doing housework). That and take trips to Lowes and the Christian Bookstore. Funny how we can go back on our childhood promises.

Anyway, I’m mostly just whining right now, but it’s giving me stuff to mull over in my noggin. I’m going to use the rest of my daylight and chop some wood. I feel like burning stuff tonight. I guess I haven’t grown up completely. No complaints there. Hope you’ve had a great and worthwhile Saturday.
