Yesterday was a day for praying for the church as a whole throughout the world. Today pray for your specific church. Pray for it to be a light in the community and that it will not only send people out around the world to serve and share the Gospel, but that it will also realize its mission field right where it is and serve those around it. Pray for unity and strength for church members, that you will support each other and treat each other with grace and love so that others will see and want to be a part (and just because it’s good to treat people with grace and love). Pray that if there are any divisions/arguments/feuds/areas of unforgiveness, that forgiveness will be brought about in the involved parties hearts and that issues will be resolved. Pray for righteousness, awareness, wisdom and discernment within your church family.
And if you don’t have a church family, pray that God will bring you to one, one where you can serve, love, worship and belong, as well as one that speaks the Biblical truth.
