Last night I was hanging out with Blake and friends. I said something about never having been to the candy store in town, but wanting to go and Blake said, “I don’t like candy. I like steak.”
I replied, “I like candy and steak.”
Stephen Hann chimed in, “Yeah, I’ll bet that would be good. You know … to have steak with a side of candy.”
Then Stephen and I started to fantasize out loud about the glory of having a meal of steak and candy and all the advantages that come with such a combination.
Blake tried to bust up the meat filled candy land daydream: “You can’t have steak and candy … Look, there are two types of people in this world … *pause* Oh, no, you’re not gonna get me this time. I know what you’re up to. I’m not gonna keep going. You can use your imagination!”
Looks like he’s onto us, guys.

Hahaha. This blog has made me become accountable for my conversational babble. Something my mother could never do…
