With the campus ministry segment of my life sort of winding down, I’ve been rediscovering some of my old self–the one that used to casually go to fun stuff around town with friends. (Again, not saying that college ministry isn’t fun, it’s just more scheduled.) Fun stuff like jazz night at the Hunter-Gatherer. I went with my incredibly hip friends Jonathan, Amber and Elizabeth. I had been a year or two ago, but this time the band (Skipp Pearson and band, don’t know who was there last time) seemed to be even better. Not that the band was bad the first time I went, I just felt that this was a better experience. I also munched on some HG pimento cheese spread and bread and tried my first corn chip in years and didn’t die. All-in-all, I’d say it was a good night. Here are a few pictures. Sorry for the blurriness. It was low light and I didn’t want to be distracting with my flash.
