Remember Ecto Cooler, the green Hi-C “juice” drink that had Slimer from the Ghost Busters cartoon on it? It’s true what they say, “You don’t know what you got till it’s gone.” I miss that stuff.
It was probably made of 99.5% high fructose corn syrup, but I would risk anaphylactic shock for another sip of that Slimer drink. I hear that the “same” drink has been out under different names, but you know it’s not the same if it’s not called “Ecto Cooler” and doesn’t have a picture of Slimer on the packaging. Here’s one of the commercials for the glorious drink. It even makes me remember having Ecto Cooler in the big cans.
