I haven’t been documenting my sandwiches that well lately and I feel a tad ashamed about that. Please don’t perceive my lack of documentation as a lack of love. I still love sandwiches very much. One of my favorites is the Hambone (formerly the Eli) from Beezers. I’m not even a big ham sandwich person, but for some reason, this is the one I love and the one I always get. If you went/go to college at the University of South Carolina and never had a Beezer’s sandwich, you weren’t/aren’t a real USC college student. If you are unfamiliar with Beezers, think Jimmy Johns, but better. And they have your sandwich finished usually before you can finish paying.
Here it is about to be unwrapped.
The Hambone in all its unwrapped glory.
Here’s an alternate angle.
Here it is after I took a delicious bite out of it.
On a completely random note, while I was taking pictures of my sandwich, one of my BCM students, Frankie was around. I took his picture. He is probably the most adorable thing since baby pandas. And one of the many reasons why I love working at the BCM.
